Activities run for Primary School Children
We believe that it is very important for older children with Down syndrome to be able to develop friendships with other children within the group and for parents to continue to be able to meet up even though their children are now at school. With this in mind, we offer a wide range of activities for school aged children:
These sessions are run monthly and is are physical activity sessions to further develop gross motor skills and build confidence and independence in a class based activity. The activity combines circuits and games to motivate children to participate in an active lifestyle whilst having fun, and are from Year 1 to end of Year 6.
Limited spaces – if you would like to attend this session please email us at email@example.com

Stepping Stones riding is a social activity in addition to the other aspects of riding and spending some time with the horses and ponies. We give our children the opportunity of experiencing riding, mainly for the fun of it but also in the hope that they may benefit from the physical activity to improve balance, co-ordination and core stability. This currently is an activity offered to our Primary School children in Year 1 up to Secondary School.
