Physical Activities
Prime Acrobatics
6 months to 11 years of age
In partnership with SSDS, Prime Acrobatics runs weekly sessions for our children aged 6 months to 11 years at their state-of-the-art gym facilities in Camberley, Surrey. These fun, carefully structured classes introduce movement and acrobatics while also supporting wider development. With a mix of strength-building activities and coordinated games, children develop key motor skills that build the foundations for lifelong health and well-being. Guided by specialist coaches, every child is encouraged to explore new challenges at their own pace in a safe, supportive environment – gaining confidence as they discover what their bodies can do.
Prime Acrobatics has created a programme especially for children with Down syndrome, ensuring every child can take part and benefit. The inclusive approach builds balance, coordination, and strength, while celebrating each child’s progress. Alongside physical skills, the sessions also nurture friendships, teamwork, and confidence, helping children feel part of a group and enjoy the sense of achievement that comes from movement, learning and play. Sessions foster a lifelong love of physical activity.
